A Very Cushy Mailform

Diese Seite auf Deutsch

This very versatile mailform can:
send mails to different addresses - create autoresponder messages and carboncopies - find out from which country a mail was sent - validate correct completion - be adaptded to any language - be used for any number of websites...

On the right you see what could be different pages of a site or even different sites. All are using different stylesheets, different navigation bars and so on. But all are using the same mailform. Each set of settings is saved in a file and is triggered by a query string that is added to the link that calls the mailform. E.g. cushymailform.php?id=webmaster will tell the mailform that the mail is intended for the webmaster of Müller & Co, whereas cushymailform.php?id=headoffice will tell the mailform to display English text and to send the mail to the head office of Müller & Co. Just move your mouse over the different contact links and look at the status bar. Then click to see the different faces of the mailform. You can create an indefinite number of id-s to trigger as many settings as you like.

Müller & Co use the form to direct mail to their different departments. Also they offer the mailform in different languages for their international customers. Then there is the Müller's family site. The mailform adapts to their style as well in design as in wording. Same with the site of upcoming popstar Lana. It is also possible to have the mailform send an automatic answer to the sender and a carboncopy to a second recipient. The body of the mail will contain nam and email of the sender, time of sending, IP address of sender and as an extra it will look up the IP and try to find out which country it belongs to.

New features in version 2.0: file attachment and security captcha (not yet visible in the demo, sorry)

Here you can see the settings that are used for the different mailforms.
Actually a webmaster could make do with one mailform for all the sites he/she is in charge of. All you have to do is type the settings into the webform. To make things even more easy you can use any set of settings as a template for the next one, so you only have to type in the changes.

Here you can see the readme file with detailed instructions.
