It can be used in the simplest possible way: Upload it to the folder where your pictures are, and go! The script creates thumbnails on the fly and shows them on the right side of the page. The pictures are shown in the main fraim. You can use the script to create a gallery of multiple albums in an arbitrary number of directory levels. Every time you create a subdirectory, the script will copy itself to that directory. This may seem a strange concept, but the beauty of it is that each subdirectory will be a self contained album that can be grabbed and moved or copied elsewhere without loosing its functionality. Each subdirectory automatically inherits settings and styles of its parent, but then all settings and styles can be changed if this is what you want. View the gallery to see its versatility. (As a designer I would not recommend using that many different styles in one gallery. I only did it here to show you the possibilities.) You don't need to configure the program - but you can. You can configure: album title - title on every page - show title page or jump to first picture - change size of thumbnails - width of frames - show filenames or other labels - show no thumbnails, only textlinks - show only pictures without table of contents - change sequence of pictures - add comments - change filenames - display non-image files - change the stylesheet or link to any existing stylesheet to merge the gallery seamlessly into the rest of your site. Test configuration and enter album_prim_2.css as the primary stylesheet to see how easy it is. For configuration details click readme.htm in the album view, but the configuration forms should be self-explaining. Test configuration (password: gallery) See here an example of the cushiest gallery working together with the cushiest slideshow on the web. Password: gallery - To enter changes click Submit at the bottom - To see effect, click View Gallery at the top. Don't worry, you can try out everything: at the next invocation of the page the gallery will be reset to it's original state. See some examples how people who bought the script use it: www.giantrides.comwww.aracaria.com.au www.enckhook.de System requirements: PHP and the GD-library for image processing must be installed on your server. If you are not sure ask your system administrator or provider. You can download the file phpinfo.php here. Upload it to your server and invoke it with your browser. You will receive information about the configuration of PHP and GD. Possibly your version of GD-library does not support GIF format. If you receive one or more error messages get in touch with your provider. Do not buy this program if PHP and GD-library are not installed on your server. This program can be yours for the price of € 12.- ($16.08), payable through PayPal using your credit card. After completion of payment you will be immediately taken to the download page. If you buy the cushiest image gallery on the web together with the cushiest slideshow on the web you save € 6,00 ($8.04)! Any questions? Please contact me!
